Elizabeth Mackie was born about 1765 in County Armagh to Benjamin Mackie and Mary Williamson. She married out of the Society of Friends to Thomas Allen in 1790.[1] She was disowned by Ballyhagan Monthly Meeting on 30 June 1790.[2]
