Biography

Margaret Mackintosh and her twin sister Harriet were born on 5 November 1772, the daughters of John Mackintosh and his wife Ann. They were baptised at the parish church of St Matthew Bethnal Green on 1 December 1772: ^[1]

Margaret married Major Patrick Alexander Agnew of the East India Company on 14 April 1794: ^[2]

She was widowed in January 1813, did not remarry and died on 29 September the following year (1814) at Hythe, Kent: ^[3]

Margaret was buried at the parish church of Hythe St Leonard, Kent on 6 October 1814. ^[4]
