DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with George by comparing test results with other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with George:

Your profile of John, https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/McLENNAN-500, appears to have a typo in the birth year. It should likely be 1840s, not 1940s.

Hi George ,

Scottish Clan Project. I'm trying to improve communications by ensuring members of the Scottish Clans Project have full access to and from its Google Group. I've not been able to identify you from the list of members of the group.

The google group is an open group so you can sign yourself in at https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/wikitree-scottish-clan-project Any problems with this let me know and I can add you direct. If you do not want to be a member of the google group can you let me know. Thanks Maria

Hi George, nice to 'meet' you. As far as I've researched my family descend from Glenshiel, Ross & Cromarty predominantly. Problems getting info pre 1800 now.

Good luck with your research. Nerrelle Maclennan.

Hi George - Happy to add you to the trusted list for the McLennan's in Penrith NSW - but you just need to ask from their profile, not mine. My cousin knows a lot more than me about that side - I'll get her to contact you if you are interested. WELCOME!!

Hi George, I awarded you the Scottish Clans Project member badge! Thanks for joining!
