Ann (Gaelic name: Anna) was born about 1770, likely in Back.
She married John Murray, also likely from Back.
They took over the tenancy of Croft No 8 Old am Bac and lived there with their family.
They had six children born between 1791 and 1860: John, Angus, Mary, Donald, Ann and Murdo.
All their children married and settled in the district of Back.
