Biography

Phebe was born in 1834. She was the daughter of Seth MACY and his wife, Rebecca SIMMONS. ^[1]

Phebe grew up in Randolph County, Indiana, where she can be found living with her parents in the 1850 US Census. ^[2]

In 1859, she married David HOOVER. ^[1]

Together they had several children, including:

1. Andrew Macy HOOVER

In 1860 she and her new family can be found living in Wayne Township. ^[3]

She passed away in 1918 ^[4] and was buried in the Hoover-Bulla Cemetery. ^[1]
