Biography

Phebe Macy, born 9 Aug 1786 to John Macy and Bethiah Cartwright, married Alanson Carpenter, son of Amos Carpenter and Hannah Hunt, in 1804. They had at least three children. She died on 22 Aug 1867.

Research Notes

The marriage year of 1812 given in Barney Genealogical Record appears likely to be in error, as the couple had three children and Alanson Carpenter died in 1812. Accordingly, the marriage date provided in Genealogy of the Macy Family From 1635-1868 has been adopted for this profile.
