The sale was in consideration of 55 pounds current money of Virginia. The property was located in Bedford County, bounded by Thomas Jefferson. No witnesses were given. Amos and Hephzibah acknowledged the indenture in court on 28 Sep 1808 [6].
28 Jun 1805. Amos and Hephzibah Holloway of Bedford County sold 206 acres to John Gill of Bedford County. The sale was in consideration of 680 pounds current money of Virginia. The property was on Bare (Bear) Branch in Bedford County, bounded by Thomas Daugherty deceased, Josiah Coker, Thomas Jefferson, and Joseph Johnson. The deed was witnessed by Thomas Johnson, Micajah Macey, and Joseph Johnson. The deed was registered in court on 22 Jul 1805, acknowledged by Amos Holloway [7].
1807. Granted a certificate for removal, with family, to Ohio's Salem Monthly Meeting.[5][8]
