Biography

Honor Madden was born about 1784. She was the daughter of Thomas Madden[1] and Margret Brown.

She married Nathaniel Cook[1] likely about 1802[2] in Ste Genevieve District in now-Missouri, Haute (upper) la Louisiane française.

She lived in St Francois County, Missouri, United States of America.[3][4]

She likely died sometime between 1840[4] and 1847[1].

Research Notes

Honor appeared to be living when she was identified as an heir when her father died intestate in 1838.[1] Based on the female enumeration in her husband's household in both the 1830[3] and 1840[4] census records, it appears that she may still have been living in 1840. By the time that her brothers filed the 1847 chancery court bill regarding settlement of her father's estate, she was deceased.[1] She likely died sometime between 1840 and 1847.
