Bridget Madden born 9 Jan 1831 was baptised on 30 Jan 1831 in Youghal Arra, Tipperary, Ireland. Father: Malachy Madden Mother: Honoria Swain. [1]

Bridget Lowther, widow, died on 18 Mar 1909 in Gillies-st, Fairfield, Victoria. Probate on her will was granted on 12 Jun 1909. [2]

From Sue Sep 3, 2018, 5:18 PM: "My gg grandmother Bridget Ann Madden arrived before 1856 when she married Edward Lowther (from yorkshire) in Sydney. They moved to Maitland and then Drysdale about 1870.
I have the christening records her and her siblings in Tipperary. Some of her children were registered with mother Ann and others mother Bridget.
I cannot find shipping records for Bridget but in 1858 Edward LOWTHER, her husband sponsored Anne MADDEN aged 10 and Michael MADDEN aged 21 from Tipperary to NSW. Ann was actually Honora.
One the list it is Lowder but should be Lowther.
Her brother Michael came to Buninyong and married Catherine McCarthy and Hanora married Jeremiah Doyle.
Michael had a Daughter Hanora bur some say it can be Ann...1867 and I have her marrying (unproven) to William Gibson 1892. "
