Agnes (Maddox) Burch, widow, was an 84 year old pensioner, a native of Modbury, Devon, when she was visiting her daughter in the Kingston family at Whitechapel on the night of the 1851 England census.
In the 1851 England Census John Kingston 44 born abt 1807 in Queenstown, Ireland, dock labourer, was head of his household in 8 Graces Alley, St Mary Whitechapel, Middlesex, England. Other Household Members were his wife Sarah Kingston 44 Devonport, Devon, and their children Mary Kingston 21 Queenstown, Ireland, dressmaker, Jane A Kingston 17 Devonport, parasol coverer, William Kingston 15 Stonehouse, Devon, umbrella work, Robert Kingston 13 Whitechapel, umbrella work, Edward Kingston 10 St Georges East, Middlesex, scholar, Sarah Kingston 7 Whitechapel, scholar, and Margaret Kingston 3 Whitechapel.
