Biography

Reuben Madison was the son of James Madison and Eleanor Rose Conway. He was born September 19, 1771 in Montpelier, Orange County, Virginia and was baptized 10 Nov 1771 in Orange County, Virginia.

Reuben suffered illness dysentery June 1775 in Montpelier, Orange County, Virginia. He died 5 Jun 1775 in Montpelier, Orange County, Virginia and was buried in Madison Family Cemetery (now Montpelier Estate National Historic Site, Montpelier Station, Orange County, Virginia[1].
