Mrs. Bollish was born March 17, 1895, in Arcadia, Neb., the daughter of Gens and Kristine Madsen. She married Louis Bollish, Aug. 22, 1916, in North Platte, Neb., and the couple moved to Colorado in 1917. Mr. Bollish farmed and worked as a veterinarian in the Mount Hope Area and after retiring in 1940, the couple moved to Sterling.
Mrs. Bollish was a member of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband, Louis Bollish; a son,
Donald E. Bollish; a daughter, Mrs. Velma Schadegg, all of Sterling; a sister, Mrs. Anna Zollars of Brush, a brother, Laurids Madsen of Niwot; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A son, Robert Bollish, was killed November 1944 while serving with the armed forces during World War II.
