Lucy Bowman was born in Ohio ca 1831. She married Andrew Jackson Flowers on 15 Jun 1853 in Kosciusko, Indiana.[1] He was a widower with eight children. She and Andrew had another six children. She died in 1918.[2]

Her tombstone says that she was born in 1851, but this is impossible since she married Flowers in 1853. It seems likely that there was a transcription error. More research is indicated.
