Biography

Marco Maggiore (another spelling is "Majuri"), born May 30, 1860,[1][2] son of the late Ciro Maggiore and the living Antonina lo Curto.

Marco marries at least twice, first to Francesca Governali,[3][4][5]

Marco and Francesca have at least two children, Antonina (1894) and Maria Antonina (1895).

Antonina is born stillborn on 6 March 1894 to Marco Maggiore, borgese, and Francesca Governali. The birth is reported by Rosina Bonaccorso, the midwife, as Marco is out of town.[6]

Maria Antonina is born in May 1895, in her parents' home at via Ravenna, #25.[7]

According to matrimonial documents, Francesca dies 27 March 1898.[8]

Marco's name appears in a list of Fratuzzi known to be active around 1900, in Dino Paternostro's article.[9]

Marco remarries to Biagia Grizzaffi, daughter of Michaelangelo Grizzaffi and Rosalia Giandalone, on 26 July 1908.[8][10]

Marco and Biagia have at least one child, Francesca (1909).

Francesca is born 3 August 1909 and baptized the next day. Her godparents are Luciano and Maria Gennaro, unmarried children of Michaelangelo.[11]
