Biography

Jane Magill was born December 20, 1740 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to James Magill and Sarah Alexander. The family must have later moved to South Carolina, because she married Andrew Hamilton in August of 1765 in Abbeville, South Carolina, where they raised their children.

She predeceased her husband and passed away in April 20, 1826.[1]
