William T, Magoon, son of Ephraim Magoon and Fannie Pope, was born on 24 March 1810 at Shipton Township, Richmond, Québec, Canada.[1]
He married Emeline Higbee, daughter of David Higbee and Fannie Spaulding,, on 4 July 1833 in Shipton Township, Richmond, Quebec, Canada.[1]
He was a farmer when he and Emeline appeared on the census of 18 Nov. 1850 at Harlem, Winnebago, Illinois.[2] He was a farmer when he and Emeline appeared on the census of 20 Aug. 1860 at Harlem, Winnebago, Illinois.[3] He was a farmer when he and Emeline appeared on the census of 21 July 1870 at Harlem, Winnebago, Illinois.[4] He was a farmer when he and Emeline appeared on the census of 14 June 1880 at Harlem, Winnebago, Illinois.[5]
William died on 21 Dec. 1889 at Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa.[1]
