1685 Birth

Elizabeth Magruder was born, say, 1685, daughter of Samuel Magruder (born say 1663) and his wife Sarah Unknown, born say 1668. Elizabeth was presumably born where the family lived in then Calvert County, Maryland. [1][2]

1703 First Marriage to Ninian Beall, Jr of Ninian

About 1703 she married her first husabnd, Ninian Beall, Jr, who was born in Calvert Co 1669, son of Ninian Beall, Immigrant. [1] Fielder M. M. Beall estimates Ninian Jr's birth year as 1674, however, he had land surveyed in 1688, and could only do so after reaching the age of majority.

Some sources assert that Elizabeth was the niece of Ninian Beall. [3] This assertion reflects the legend that Elizabeth's mother Sarah was actually Sarah Beall, presumed to be a daughter of Ninian, and therefore a sister of Ninian, Jr. Actually Sarah and her possible sister Mary were "kinspeople" brought over by Ninian with Rev. Nathaniel Taylor, and not the daughters of Ninian Beall, Sr.

1710 Will and Death

Ninian Beall, Jr, died in 1710. His will was written November 10, 1710, and proved the following January 6 (1710/11) [4] [5]

He predeceased his father, Ninian Sr, who died in 1717, and named grandchildren Mary and Samuel in his own will, "to be brought up according to their station."

1711 Inheritance from Father

Elizabeth Magruder was named in will of her father Samuel [6]

1711 in will of father Samuel Magruder, Elizabeth was to receive £100 to buy a "gown & pretty cote". [6]

1712 Second Marriage to William Beall of Alexander

After Ninian's death, his widow married "her kinsman" [7] William Beall, son of Alexander Beall, Immigrant.

Following the death of Ninian, Elizabeth married William Beall Sr, son of Alexander, who was born say 1683. [1] The Elizabeth who married William Beall was named as a child of Samuel Magruder by Papenfuse. [8]

1731 Inheritance from Mother

Elizabeth was named in her mother Sarah's 1731 will as the wife of William Beall [1]

1764 Death

Elizabeth died in 1764 [9]
