Patrick, I saw your mention of LNAB Drinkwater. Check out Drinkwater-11, the first occurrence of this surname in the Colonies. I've entered 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generations. I'm entering 4th generation now.

Hi –

We are happy to have you as a member of WikiTree. I hope you’re enjoying being here.

I'm a member of the Mentor project, and I just wanted to check in and see how things are going. Do you have any questions I can help you with?

Shirley – WikiMentor

Congratulations on being Pre-1700 certified. It's time to pick a project that fits the pre-1700 profiles you'll be working on.

Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Do you have some historically significant ancestors? Explore the list of /Help:Projects active projects to see if one fits your needs.

Once you find a project that interests you, visit the project page for more information and to find out how to join. You can also use the x.php?title=Special:Following Following link to add the project tag to your profile, and you'll be kept up to date on any activity.

Can't find what you're looking for? Let me know, and I can make some suggestions

Hello Pat,

You've been a member of WikiTree for about a week now so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions?

I want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page or send me a private message. Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile as the links will work from there. Please ask if you have any questions as I am always happy to help!

You can start entering your data in the tree now and I hope you enjoy this site as much as I do.

Patrick,

Welcome to WikiTree! The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree, which is unlike any genealogy site you’ve ever used.

WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, so we all work together as one collaborative team.

What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research you’d like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree? When you confirm your email address, you’ll have an opportunity to tell us about your genealogical interests as you join.

Once you volunteer to help build our global tree, our greeters will confirm your membership, and you’ll be on your way!

Welcome to the family! We’re really glad you’re here.
