I found a digital copy of source mentioned below Giffin Family...
The Giffin Family: Pioneers in America Prior to 1742…. - by "Boyce, Isaac" Pages: 232 Original Published Place: "Canonsburg, PA" Original Published Date 1933, published by the Giffen Reunion Assn., mentions Scotland of the origins of the Giffins, specifically County Argyll in Kintyre Peninsula.
