Catherine (Mahan) Funcheon was born in 1800 in Ireland.

Catherine married Patrick Funcheon. They immigrated to the US before 1828. Their children were:

In 1830 US Census they live in Township 14, Washington County, Maine.

In May 1836 Patk. Funcheon 37 and Cathe. Funcheon 36 are on the ship Edward Preble from Edgar, Massachusetts to New York City children John 15 b. Ireland, William 13 b. Ireland, James 11 b. US, Andrew 9, Phyrus 8 months b. US.
