Biography

Hello / Bonjour

I live next to Nancy, France, and I am interrested in genealogy and in my ancestrors, especially in the following areas of France: Alsace, Lorraine, Bretagne, Loire-Atlantique, Centre, Limousin.

And also from other countries, because many of my ancestrors crossed the borders to settle. So I have a some comming from: Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Netherlands.

I would like to connect to the main tree, and find cousins all over the world. I can help read and translate french documents, and look for and check local information here in France.

Hello again! I posted a comment two weeks ago and have not yet heard back from you. I hope you are well! Do you want to remain in the Germany Project? If I don’t hear back from you by the end of November, I’ll go ahead and remove you from our member roster. You are, of course, always welcome to rejoin at any time via our G2G sign-up post.

Best wishes, Traci ~ Germany Project co-leader

Hi,

The Germany Project Leaders are doing their semi-annual check-in with all project members and we want to verify that you’re still interested in being a member of the Project. Please respond by private message and let me know.

Are you currently working with one of our Sub-projects or Teams? If not, take a look at our main Project page for a full list.

We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions, please ask. We would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project.

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Hi again,

I sent you a message a couple of weeks ago on behalf of the Germany Project and have not yet heard back from you. I hope you are well!

If I don’t hear back from you by the end of April, I will assume you no longer wish to be a member of the Germany Project and I’ll go ahead and remove you from our member roster. You are, of course, welcome to rejoin at any time via our G2G sign-up post.

Best wishes,

Traci ~ Germany Project co-leader

Hi Traci.

I am still interested to be part of the Germany Project. I may have not so much time as I wished to read and do genealogy, but I am still interssted. Best wishes. Loïc

Thanks for responding . The only participation requirement for the Germany Project is answering at check-in time - which you just did. We're glad you're staying with us!

Hello Loic,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are usually shared by many descendants, collaborating with members of the projects which coordinate them is essential.

Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or topic. Review the project pages to learn about resources and guidelines as well as how to collaborate with the project members.

Can't find what you're looking for? Let me know, and I can make some suggestions! :-)

P.S. If links do not work in an email from WikiTree, try them from the comment section on your profile page.

Hello Nathalie,

Thanks for your message. I applied the France and Germany projects, as most of my pre-1700 ancestrors are from these countries. I needed to be accepted in these projects as I have many pre-1700 data that I have found in french registers, and want to share. And to connect to cousins and to the main Tree. Many french families in Alsace and Lorraine have German ancestrors, and also Italian or Swiss ones as these countries are not so far away.
