You are now a member of the WikiTree Community - Thank you for volunteering to help grow our World Wide Family Tree. We are building one Collaborative Tree with just one profile per person, so it is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add Profiles to WikiTree.
If you have pre-1700's ancestors to add, please read our Pre-1700 profiles info. Also, be sure to include a list of the sources used, on each profile you add.
If you need any help getting started check out the Help Index or the G2G forum . Also our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.
As a granddaughter of Daniel and Anna Mahony (by James Edward and Elizabeth [O'Hare] Mahony) and as a graduate of D'Youville College, I am eager to discover more about those ancestors I could not know and did not investigate when I was young and callow. I would like to join my other unknown relatives in providing background of where (collectively) we have been and where our youngsters are taking us, most especially those who have not changed the spelling of our surname--or its pronunciation. I'm modestly acquainted with James Mahony and Ellen Sullivan, our emigrant parents, and with Blennerville, Ireland. I'm old now and would like to know more about my paternal grandparents.
As a guest, you can search for your ancestors and participate in G2G, where you can ask questions that you didn't find an answer to in WikiTree Help (see the "Help" drop-down menu at upper right–for additional links that may be of use, please click my name and check out the links I list under my "Greeter" section–especially the Sources links and the link to my fellow greeter Debby, who also has helpful information on her profile page).
If you would like to join WikiTree, and help with our mission of one tree, please read the Honor Code, volunteer, and post a comment on your profile page; we'll be glad to add you to the WikiTree community.
