Biography
Thomas Kean was born in 1871. He was the son of Thomas McDonough Mahony and Maryanne Mahony.
He was baptized and his godparents were FRANCIS MCDONAGH and BRIDGET STOKES [1]
He was widowed, 65 years old and a farmer when he died at Woodford in Killarney.[2]

His wife was Mary Sheehan aka Máire Ní Shíocháin, they married on 23rd January 1908 - https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1908/10044/5653466.pdf They split up in 1916.
She died a few months before him, her death certificate calls her a "Professor of Irish" - https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1936/04800/4291384.pdf It also calls her Maureen another translation of Máire.
