Hi David, on the profile for Mary (Fairbanks) Smith where you changed her death date (as well as her birth) without providing a source for the change... the death date you used is one that in the Dedham VRs is for a Mary Smith, but there is also one for a Mary Smith called a widow, don't you think? Both dates are cited & sourced in the bio. Is there a reason you chose the earlier date, or a source, that points to one or the other being the correct death record? Thanks, Bobbie

For male Mahonys Y chromosome DNA project

Hi David ... I was tooling around and found Benjamin Chaffee you manage and then I found 2 Different Benjamin Chaffe and Benjamin Chafee as duplicates. Wm. Chaffee Spells it Chaffe (pg 141) and we should probably go with that spelling. What do you think? Right now I have a merge in for Chafee 2 and 4. This is going to be a headache.

When I am looking for someone with a surname here , I put in surname part of box only, and when the options pop up , then on my keyboard, I use Ctrl + F - for a Find feature . It's the only way I can find my folks on my watchlist too now.It grew so long. LOL . Maggie

Dave , how interesting that you have a KAIN MAHONY too ! And also an Ellen Sullivan Mahony . My branch also had Mahonys in Dunkirk, NY ; Cleveland and Chicago & Florida. Hi David , Thanks for the interest .I have all my USA Mahonys done and what I do have up on Mahonys is on the surnames list at WikiTree : Mahonys. If we are on the same branch, we can make our definite connections, we can be on the trusted lists for each other ! I opened up all my Mahony profiles for you (and others ). Sometimes I forget to remove the privacy screen. Maggie
