Maria Maier was born on November 12, 1842 in Todtmoos, Baden-Württemberg, Deutschland, daughter of Viktor Maier (~1808– ) and Maria Barbara Strütt (1822–1903).

Maria (24) married Konstantin Gerspacher (26) (born on September 16, 1841 in Todtmoos, Waldshut, Germany; son of Michael Gerspacher and Marianna Kiefer) on September 19, 1867. Their children were:

• Carl Freidrich Gerspacher (1867–1873)
• Carl Freidrich Gerspacher (1874–1930)
• Emil Joseph Gerspacher (1886–1961)

Maria died on January 4, 1920 in Todtmoos, aged 77.
