Biography

Philip was born before 1795. He is the son of John Main. [1]

During the War of 1812, Philip Main served as a private in the 2nd York Militia in 1812 and 5th Lincoln Militia in 1813. He served from October 17 to 24, 1812 in Capt. William G. Hepburn’s Company. [2]

He was on duty from October 25 to November 24, 1812 in Capt. William G. Hepburn’s Company. [3]

He was absent from the 5th Lincoln from September 17 to October 24, 1813 from Capt. Charles Depew’s Company. [4]
