Biography
Amos is a younger son of Joshua Main and (probably) Rachel Peckham. [1] Amos was probably born between 1753 and July 1758 (when Rachel died). He died after his father's will of 14 Nov 1789.
- Main Gen. Book has Amos born at 1768.The Mains of Cherry Creek, Chautauqua Co., N. Y., are probably in this line, but not included in this genealogy.
