Jessie was born in 1913, parents James Main, postman living at 43 Annebella St, Winnipeg at the time and Mary Main nee Smyth. Mary Smyth was present at the birth.

In 1916 the Main family lived in Winnipeg North, Manitoba, Canada. ^[1] James Main (33) postman & Mary Main (31) with Jessie Main (3), Mary A Main (1), James Main (0) and George K Main (31). Presbyterian.
