Johannes Majer (later John Meyer) was born 9 Mar 1807 in Schwenningen, Germany, son of Andreas Majer and Agatha Maurer.[1]
He married 23 Jan 1833 Anna Maria Speck, dau of Jakob Speck and Anna Schlenker.[2]

Jakob M. Majer, b 11 Aug 1833; he m. 17 Aug 1856 (in Cleveland) Margaret Lindon; he m2 4 Dec 1864 in Cuyahoga County, Ohio Wilhelmina May Felker.[3]
Catherine, b 25 Nov 1837, d 1926; m abt 1860 in Ohio Henry Herman.[4]
Anna Maria, b abt 1840, d 1896.
Agatha-Margaret, b 20 Apr 1844
Andreas, b 8 Dec 1845, d 7 Oct 1887 Cleveland; m Martha Chandler (b 1842) on 27 Apr 1865 in Cleveland.[5]
They were part of the April 1847 town-subsidized emigration of the poor.
