Hello Pamjoy,

I am a Sturtevant descendant - my great-grandmother was Laura Nadine Sturtevant (1887-1989) (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Sturtevant-640). The WikiTree page lists two children of hers and Arthur H. McIntosh, Sr.'s by name: Barbara Jean (McIntosh) Clark, and Ruth Nadine (McIntosh) MacAskill. The other two children are listed as "private son" and "private daughter," presumably because they were thought to be alive when this page was originally set up. I can confirm that the other daughter, Patricia E. (McIntosh) Day, was born in 1922 and died in 1987. The other son, Arthur H. McIntosh, Jr., was my grandfather. He was born in 1919 and died two years ago, in December 2020, at the age of 101. Like his mother, he lived a very long life. His wife, my grandmother Agnes V. (Russo) McIntosh, was born in 1922 and died in 2000. I can provide sourcing for all of the above if necessary; if you have access to Ancestry.com, you can see the sources in my tree (https://www.ancestry.com/family-tree/tree/31366430/family?cfpid=12435381728)

Thanks, Matt Drinkwater

Thanks for your note on the Remember the Children page, child-loss has affected us all in some way or another. My grandmother lost her only sibling who was 1 and caught pneumonia. Each of the generations in my family have lost a child. At least working on WikiTree profiles let us remember them.
Hi Pamjoy!

In July 2019, you made 1000+ contributions to our Shared Tree! I commend for your time and effort. Keep up the great work!

Hi Pam, I apologize if some of the information I provided may be revealing in nature but the truth is now out there and it needs to be known as it is a part of my family history. I feel that, if it is a part of my own family history, then it is my responsibility to provide the truth and facts. Some may look at this as disrespectful, but as a victim of abuse, glossing over and sugar coating the truth only deepens the pain of the past. As with any family, good and bad things happen, me providing this information exposes the fact that my brother and I were victims of our mother's severe abuse. Throughout the past 20 years, I've used my abuse as a tool to help other unfortunate kids suffering from the same experiences I had, helping them to cope and find the help they need. Have a great 2016!

Hi Pamjoy, I created a profile for Louis Normandeau married to a Suzanne Berthelot without realizing you had already created one called Louis Normandeau JR - The profile I created July 19, 2015 is fairly detailed (see Normandeau-46) but needs to be merged with yours (Normandeau-27). I initiated the merge; please respond by approving the merge asap. Thank you.

Hi Pam, I noticed that you have some merge proposals that need your attention...just go to Find>Pending Merges, then most importantly, hit the link that says "Pending Merges Waiting for Action by Me". Otherwise you will be looking at all the merges that need to be done on Wikitree! Let me know if you need any help at all.
