Driven from their home in Grimm, August Major and his family were forced to take a train to Siberia, and then make their new home in Kazakhstan. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, he and his entire family, wife children, siblings, etc., moved to Berlin, Germany. We exchanged letters back and forth and he provided me with the information about his family members for my genealogy research. He passed away a couple years ago.
I am trying to locate his granddaughter Natalie Kochen who helped translate our letters to each other. She may have access to documents that would be helpful in supporting the information her grandfather gave to me years ago. She is married now, and I don't have her married surname. She moved away from Berlin and is located in another city now with her husband and children.
