Biography
Rosannah was born in 1825. [1] Rosannah married Johnson Yates in 1843. [2] In 1850 they are enumerated on the federal census in Anderson County, Kentucky. [3] In 1860 they are again in Franklin County, Kentucky. [4] In 1880 Rosannah is a widow living in the Clay County, Missouri home of her brother John A. S. Major. [5] Rose died 1896 in Clay County, Missouri.

- ↑ There is some question as to whether she was born in Mercer County or Franklin County Kentucky. Though her parents, John and Lucinda, were married in Mercer County, they were thereafter enumerated on the federal census in Franklin County. As such, the stronger argument--in the absence of additional evidence--appears to be that their children were born in Franklin County.
