His son Sir William Malet was the son of Baldwin Malet and Emma, daughter of Hugh de Neville [1] If Collinson is to be believed then this would make this profile Baldwin.

He married, secondly, Maud de Kitemore, daughter of Adam de Kitemore. Tremlett and Blankiston calls her Maud, daughter of Adam of Kettenore. this ame source calls William "William 1 of Enmore" [2]

He lived at Enmore, Somerset, England. He lived in 1199 at Sutton Malet, Somerset, England. He held the office of Sheriff of Somerset between 1209 and 1212.

[CRR John V1 Roll 21] 1200 Michaelmas Term. Sumerset'. Willelmus Malet ponit loco suo Radulfum Malet versus Willelmum Malet de Enemere de placito terre de Sutton. William and Radulf Malet, plaintiffs versus William Malet of Enmore re lands now known as Sutton Malet.

[SRS V6, page 20] 1202-1203. 29. At the old Temple Monday next after St. John Baptist; between William Malet of Curri, claimant; and William Malet of Enemore, tenent; for a hide of land and a half in Sutton: William of Enemore acknowledged all the land to be the right and inheritance of William of Curri; for this William of Curri conceded the same to William of Enemore, to be held by the service which to the same belonged. And William of Enemore gave William of Curri ( ) marcs in money, and a palfrey worth one hundred shillings.
