Biography
Cornelius was a soldier in the American Revolution and is listed in Census of Pensioners - State of Alabama- Northern District. He is in Morgan County, age 81. This census was taken June 1, 1840.
In the 1850 Census he was living in household of Phillip and Elizabeth Escue. Elizabeth was Cornelius' granddaughter.
He and Drucilla may have had a son named James who was born between Sarah and Alcy, but no information to support this child.
