Research Notes

Patrick Malone (abt.1715-1788) may be the same person as Patrick Malone (abt.1715-1788). They have not been merged due to a discrepancy in the will, which does not mention a son named John.

Malone-4570 and Malone-4409 appear to represent the same person because: Birth, death and marriage partner are the same. If this match is rejected please provide an explanation. Thanks.

An updated note: The Will of Patrick Malone of Bucks county, Pennsylvania (1715-28 Feb 1788) doesn't mention a son named John. This appears to be the problem with the merge I just proposed. But, this also means this profile is probably using the other Patrick Malone's death date as the odds of them both being born in the same year and dying on the same day are very remote. It's more likely you've just got the wrong death date.

Malone-4570 and Malone-4409 do not represent the same person because: The probated Will of Malone-4750 doesn't mention a son named John who is the offspring of Malone-4409. Malone-4409 probably has the wrong birth and death dates because they exactly match Malone-4750. While the spouse name is also the same for both profiles neither profile has a primary or secondary source that names the wife of either Patrick Malone.
