Dianna attended East Texas State University, graduating in 1967 with a degree in Education. She began her teaching career in 1967 with the Giddings Independent School district as a math teacher. Teaching was her passion and during her 29-year career Dianna made a positive impact on the students she taught. She was the teacher sponsor for the Giddings Middle School Drill Team and assisted with many other school programs and activities.
