Michael George Manion was born February 22, 1905 in Pennsylvania to father Thomas J. Manion and mother Sebina Costello.^[1]

Michael J Mannon was enumerated as son of the head of household at 1342 Capitol Street, Philadelphia Ward 36, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania for the April 16, United States Census, 1910. He was noted as born 1905 in Pennsylvania and single as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Thomas Mannon, wife Sabina S Mannon, son Thomas D Mannon, daughter Marie Mannon, daughter Katherine Mannon, brother-in-law Thomas Costello and brother-in-law James Costello.^[2]
