Wendy, you are amazing! And so fast!

I was just about to quote an 1861 census where Mary appears as being 47 but was puzzling over her quoted year of birth as 1825 which would therefore be incorrect. It would work out as 1814 birth.

Thankyou so much once again for your invaluable assistance in solving this whole problem!!!

I have entered this "edit" in the hope that I may finally adopt Mary Ann (Mann) Thorne who is my maternal great-great-grandmother--she was grandmother to my grandmother, Lydia (Cumming) Parker. My Mother was Lydia's fifth daughter, Joyce Mary (Parker) Nivison.

This is most probably most unorthodox but all my other efforts, despite patient help, have failed.
