Champion Bramwell Mann was born on Nov 2, 1844 in Summerhill, Crawford Co., Pennsylvania to Sylvester H. Mann and Ann E. (Whipple) Mann.
He married Evangeline St. Clair Brewer.
Father of Avis M. (Mann) Sparks, Helen Whipple Mann, Ida Scott (Mann) Stoves, Claude Brewer Mann, Annie Viola Mann, and Gladys Margaret (Mann) Caton.
Qualified and accepted into the Sons of the American Revolution through his father's line to Ithmar Pelton, revolutionary soldier with the 23rd Reg, Connecticut.[1]
Champion passed away on Oct. 19, 1929 in Olympia, Thurston Co., Washington[2], the day after the death of his only son. He was buried at Odd Fellows Memorial Park and Mausoleum in Tumwater, Thurston Co., Washington.
His will bequeathed his estate to his wife "for the period of her life only".[3]
