Milk Dealer, Dairy Farm Owner, first in Corning and then in Veteran NY and operated Mann's Dairy.

Born Feb 1876 [1], and the year 1876 is on his tombstone. Alternate: 2 Aug 1878 [2]

Birth Location: Find-a-Grave lists Buffalo NY but gives no sources. Steuben County is more likely, as his parents lived there. There is a man named William Frederick Mann born 1876 in Buffalo, but he's blond and blue-eyed.[3]. This William had brown eyes and black hair.

Finished school through 8th grade.[4]

Elopement

(information from newspaper articles in Elmira Star Gazette.)

On the night of Tuesday 4 December 1900, William Mann (age 24) and Charlotte (Lottie) Carr (age 14) left Corning in secret, and were married on Wednesday afternoon in Elmira NY. Lottie told the minister she was over 18. The pair was found the next day and separated by the police. The marriage was annulled in October 1901, upon request of Lottie's step-parents.

They had three children.

Death

Died 10 March 1953 in Binghamton NY. [13][14]
