Everett, Thursday, July 26- Walter Mann, 68 years old, veteran shingle manufacturer of Everett, died suddenly Wednesday morning. Mr. Mann for years operated a shingle mill on the old 14th Street Dock and lately had been manager of the Everbest Shingle Company here. He was an elder of the Presbyterian Church, for eighteen years treasurer of his church's Sunday School, and is survived by a widow, a brother, sister and daughter. --
Friday, July 27, 1928, Bellingham Herald, page 9- Everett Millman, 68, Dies Suddenly Everett, July 27. - Walter Mann, sixty-eight, veteran shingle manufacturer, who operated a mill at the Fourteenth Street dock, and for the last few years has been manager of the Everbest Shingle Company, died suddenly yesterday at his home at 1515 Rucker Avenue. He was a resident of Everett since 1903, and was an elder of the First Presbyterian church, holding the office of secretary and treasurer of the Sunday school for eighteen years. He is survived by a widow, and a daughter, Mrs. H. M. Rollins, of Sacramento.
