Birth & Upbringing: John was born in the Bulawayo area in 1947.
Education: He was schooled in Umtali at Umtali Boys High School.
Vocation: Joined the BSA Police Reserve in July 1973; Reg.No.20060D; served until November 1979
Demise: KIA - terrorist incident while serving as a Field Reservist in Operation Grapple area.[1] [2].
Cremation: John Mann was cremated at Warren Hills Crematorium following funeral service on 3 December 1979
