Biography

Sarah Marr was born, May 2, 1815, the daughter of Peter Marr and Eunice Northrup of Digby, Nova Scotia[1]

Circa 1835, she married Hayden Trefry, the son of James Trefry and Elizabeth Allen of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and had children, including:

  1. Satira, born 1836, who married John V. Thomas of Bloomfield, Digby County[2]
  2. Edward, born 1840, who married Elixanna Grant of Gloucester, Mass
  3. Hayden, born September 1844, who died in 1930, unmarried[3]
  4. David, born 1848, who married Nellie Smith in San Francisco and died in California in 1896

Sarah Marr Trefry died sometime abt. 1870. [3]
