Biography

Theresa Mann and her twin sister Christiana were the tenth and eleventh known children of Joseph Mann and Harriet (Gould) Mann.[1][2]

Birth

She was born 13 February 1867 at Astwood Hill, Chaddesley Corbett, Worcestershire, England and was baptised 15 February 1867 at the Parish Church of St Cassian, Chaddesley Corbett.[1][3]

Marriage

Theresa Mann and Ernest Hill were married 7 September 1901 at the Parish Church of St Cassian, Chaddesley Corbett, Worcestershire.[4][5]

Migration

She and her family emigrated from Liverpool 20 April 1912 on the SS Caronia and arrived 28 April 1912 at New York, United States of America to join her sister Jane (Mann) Footman.[6]

Residence

  • 1871 (with her parents) at Bournes Green, Chaddesley Corbett, Worcestershire.[7]
  • 1881 (with her sister Harriet) at Charford Road, Stoke Prior, Worcestershire.[8]
  • 1891 to 1901 (with her father) at Tanwood, Chaddesley Corbett.[9][10]

Death

Theresa Hill died 18 November 1933 at Stockton State Hospital, San Joaquin County, California, United States of America and was buried at Arbor Vitae Cemetery, Madera, Madera County, California.[14][3]
