Giuseppa Mannina, daughter of the late Michaele Mannina and the living Giuseppa Russo, marries Giovanni Lercara, son of the late Antonio Lercara and Mattea Rao, from Prizzi (Oppidi Peritii) and a resident of Corleone for several years, on 8 June 1851.[1]
Giovanni and Giuseppa have at least four children: Antonino (1851), Mattea (c. 1862), Maria (c. 1865), and Leoluchina (c. 1871)
Antonino is born on 3 August 1851 in his parents' home on via Santo Rocco in Corleone.[2] He is named after his paternal grandfather.
Mattea is named after her paternal grandmother. We estimate she is around 20 years old when she marries.
Maria is born around 1865, based on her reported age at marriage.
Leoluchina is born around 1871, based on her reported age at immigration.
Their children all marry in Corleone:
Mattea marries Pietro Paolo Zabbia, of unknown parents, on 24 September 1882.[3]
Leoluchina marries Francesco Cali' on 6 September 1891.[4]
Maria marries Biagio Guagliardo on 20 September 1894. Biagio is 24 (b. 1870) and Maria is 29 (b. 1865). They are both peasants.[5]

Mannina-181 and Mannina-151 appear to represent the same person because: One record has a baptismal record and the other has a marriage record. They are for the same girl.
