On 5 February 1841, Simone Majuri Projetto, celibe (bachelor), age 22 (b. 1819), native resident of Corleone, agricola (farm manager), son of unknown parents; and Maria Mannina, celibe, age 22 (b. 1819), native resident of Corleone, daughter of Bernardo Mannina, age 57 (b. 1784), agricola (farm manager), and the late Francesca Gariffo; appear before the mayor of Corleone to declare their intention to marry.[1] "Projetto" is a surname given to foundlings in Corleone. Anna Maria Mannina, daughter of the living Bernardo Mannina and the late Francesca Gariffo, marries Simone Majuri, of unknown parents, an unmarried man born in Corleone, on 11 February 1841 in the Church in Corleone.[2]
Anna Maria and Simone have one known child, Antonino (c. 1848).
Antonino marries Stefania Campagna, a widow, on 20 September 1868 in Corleone.[3] The record of his marriage calls his late father "Santo," but his first son, born in 1870, is named Simone, following the naming tradition.
