Giuseppa Maria Mannina (or "Mandina", as in this record) is born and baptized 24 January 1791 in Corleone, named after her paternal grandmother. She is the daughter of Francesco Mandina and Antonia Scimonetto. Her godparents are A.M.Dr. Don Carmelo and Donna Serafina Badulato, a married couple.[1]
When she is fourteen years old, Giuseppa marries Arcangelo Paternostro, on 14 November 1805. Their parents are all still living at this time.
Arcangelo and Giuseppa have at least three children: Lucia (c. 1819), Maria Rosa (1827), and Vincenzo (c. 1829).
I estimate Lucia is born around 1819, twenty years before she marries.
Rosa Maria is born and baptized on 22 June 1827. Her godparents are Gaetano and Apollonia Rizzo.
Vincenzo's birth year is based on his reported age at death.
Lucia marries Leoluca Sciortino on 13 October 1839.[2]
Vincenzo marries Maria Rosa Cinquemani on 10 January 1850. His father has died by this time, and his mother is living.
Vincenzo dies at age 37 in his home at via San Michele Arcangelo, Corleone, on 2 November 1866. Maria Rosa survives him.
