1884 Birth of Thomas Manning on 13 December 1884 at Ardamagh, County Cavan, Ireland[1] to Robert Manning and Mary Jane Brown. His father Robert Manning was the informant of the birth which was registered on 7 January 1885.

1886 Birth of brother Isaac Manning on 12 June 1886 at Ardamagh, County Cavan, Ireland[2]. Robert Manning was the informant for the birth registered on 5 July 1886.

1887 Death of brother John Manning on 11 June 1887 at Ardamagh, County Cavan, Ireland[3]. John was listed on the death certificate as a bachelor, 14 years old and a farmer's son. The cause of death was given as kidney disease of five months duration with no medical attention and uncertified. The informant was William Manning, brother of the deceased, present at the death in Ardamagh. The death was registered on 4 July 1887.

1888 Birth of sister Mary Jane Manning on 17 May 1888 at Ardamagh, County Cavan, Ireland[4]. William was the informant for the birth which was registered on 4 June 1888.

1896 Death of brother George Manning on 12 December 1896 at Ardamagh, County Cavan, Ireland[5]. The cause of his death was endocarditis and heart failure. He was 15 years old at the time of his death.

1901 Census of Ireland 31 March 1901[6]. Thomas Manning listed as a son of the head of the family at house 9, Ardamagh, County Cavan, Ireland. His religion is Irish Church; he can read and write and he is 16 years and a male farmer, not married and born in County Cavan.

1905 Death of father Robert Manning on 1 January 1905. On his death certificate[7] his age was listed as 66 years. Cause: Heart Failure - Duration: 24 hours - no medical attention Informant: Lucy Manning, present at death, Ardamagh Registration Date: 22nd March 1905.

1911 Census of Ireland 2 April 1911[8]. Thomas Manning listed as a son to the head of the family at house 9, Ardamagh, County Cavan, Ireland. His religion is Church of Ireland; he can read and write and he is 26 years and a farmer's son, single and born in County Cavan.

1918 Death of his mother Mary Jane Brown on 23 December 1918 at Ardamagh, County Cavan, Ireland at the age of 67. She was listed as a farmer-widow on her death certificate[9]. The cause of death was given as paralysis - no medical attendant. The informant was William Manning, present at her death in Ardamagh. The death was registered on 12 January 1919.

1919 Marriage to Kate Rountree on 2 January 1919 at the Parish Church, Parish of Drung, County Cavan, Ireland[10]. Catherine's father is Charles Rountree and he is listed as a farmer living in Kilmacnoran, County Cavan, Ireland. Kilmacnoran is a townland not far from Ardamagh. Catherine is listed as a spinster with age listed as full.

1919 Birth of son Robert Charles Manning on 6 October 1919 at Ardamagh, County Cavan, Ireland[11]. The mother is listed as Kate Manning formerly Rountree. Thomas's profession is listed as farmer.

1920 Birth of daughter Daisy May Elizabeth Manning on 7 October 1920 at Ardamagh, County Cavan, Ireland[12]. Thomas is listed as a farmer in Ardamagh while Kate Manning formerly Rountree is listed as the mother

1946 Died on 10 March 1946 at Ardamagh, County Cavan, Ireland[13]. Thomas was listed on the death certificate as male, married, 61 years old, and a farmer. The cause of death was "essential hypotension and cerebral haemorrhage" and was certified. The informant was his son Robert Charles Manning of Ardamagh Ballyhaise who was present at the death. The death was registered on 19 March 1946.

1946 Buried in the family grave at the Church of Ireland, Ballyhaise, County Cavan, Ireland.
