Mercy Mansfield, the second child of Moses Mansfield and Mercy Glover, was born 2 April 1667 in New Haven. She was married twice, first to John Thompson, then to Nathaniel Bradley. She died 9 January 1743/4 in East Haven at the age of 77.[1]
The 1691 marriage date for Mercy Mansfield and John Thompson is an estimate, based on the 1692 birth of their first child, John.
John Thompson died in 1721 and Nathaniel Bradley's first wife, Ruth Dickerman, died in May 1725, so it is assumed that the widow Mercy Thompson married Nathaniel Bradley sometime after May 1725.
She was buried in the Old Cemetery, East Haven, New Haven, Connecticut.[2]
