Biography

Walter Allen Mansfield was born in 1881 in Sale, Colony of Victoria, Australia. He was the the son of Sarah Ann Merritt and Egbert Mansfield.^[1]

He married Florence Annie Granger on 20 October 1904 in Adelaide, South Australia.^[2]

Their children were:

• Walter Edward Mansfield (1906–?)
• Florence Hazel Mansfield (1909–?)
• Sydney Ronald Mansfield (1911–1918)
• A son (1920s–?)

Walter died in 1941 in Ashford, South Australia,^[3] and was interred in West Terrace Cemetery.^[4]
